Lucknow — The FICCI FLO Artisan Fair 2025, organized by the Lucknow Chapter of FICCI FLO at Khadi Gram Udyog Bhawan, Dali Bagh, concluded on a high note today, drawing large crowds of shoppers celebrating Gandhi Jayanti. The fair showcased diverse craft traditions from across India, providing artisans a platform to display and sell their handmade creations.
A stall run by the Deaf Women Welfare Foundation, featuring products crafted by deaf and mute women, emerged as a crowd favorite. Mini Gopal, General Secretary of the Foundation, highlighted that all items were handmade by the women themselves.
Other standout participants included Kanchan Mehrotra of Devashish Small Industries, who works alongside her mentally challenged son to create candles, lamps, and home décor items. Swati Thakur, originally from Bihar, showcased innovative Mithila paintings on handmade paper using Harsingar flower dye, with Ramayana-themed pieces being especially popular. Afia, from Hunarjadi Creations, Rajajipuram, displayed handmade silver shoes and slippers priced between ₹21,000 and ₹50,000.
Visitors also appreciated products from Amethi’s Munj, Kannauj fragrances, Madhubani art, festive gifts, jewelry, crochet, bone carving, glassware, and other lifestyle items, celebrating the country’s rich artisanal heritage.
Commenting on the final day, FICCI FLO National Vice President Pooja Garg emphasized the importance of handmade, sustainable, and authentic products in inspiring a modern lifestyle.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Vandita Agarwal, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Lucknow Chapter, said,
“We have strived to provide a platform for artisans, entrepreneurs, and craftspeople. Given the successful organization and the large turnout, we plan to extend the fair’s duration next year to attract more visitors and support handmade products.”
The event was attended by Swati Verma, National Textile Head, FICCI FLO, Aarushi Tandon, former Chairperson, committee members Vibha Agarwal, Simran Sahni, Devanshi Seth, Smriti Garg, Shama Gupta, Bhavana Animesh, Pragya Agarwal, Aditi Jaggi, Riya Punjabi, Vanita Yadav, and over 300 FLO members, marking a resounding success for artisans and craft lovers alike.
